Customer-visible changes to proxo, newest first. Material changes to the legal documents are listed on the legal changelog.

October 2026

  • Encryption at rest is upgraded to AES-256-GCM, and emails and tokens are now looked up by keyed HMAC-SHA256. Read about security.
  • New Transfer asks whether money moves between an entity's own accounts or to another entity.
  • New Transfer has a "Pay down debt" option for paying an entity's own credit card or line of credit from its cash account.
  • Transfers between one entity's own accounts no longer count toward gross Inflows and Outflows totals.
  • The aging and forecast reports leave transfers between an entity's own accounts out.
  • A receipt that arrives after its bank line is attached to the existing Outflow instead of booking a second one, or held for review when the match is uncertain.
  • Card statement imports keep purchases paid with reward points out of the card transactions, and the statement review shows the points summary.
  • Deleting a cash flow voids its recorded payments, so they no longer count in payment totals.

September 2026

  • A new Outflow can be paid in installments, and the schedule appears on the record's Payments tab.
  • Record a payment straight from an Outflows row, and filter with the "Partially paid" and "No payment in 30+ days" chips.
  • When you change a transaction's category, proxo offers to apply the same change to similar transactions.
  • A Draft cash flow can be moved to another entity.
  • Emailed receipts can be filed under a specific entity, and the Receipt Inbox follows the entity selected in the sidebar.
  • A bank connection can be disconnected and reattached from Financial Accounts, and new bank connections import up to two years of transaction history.
  • Reassign the approver on a single approval-chain step; requests already waiting on that step move to the new approver.
  • Principals can edit their own organization's approval policy.
  • Budgets import from CSV with a preview first, export to CSV, and alert budget owners when spending from bank feeds or imported statements reaches a threshold.
  • Dashboard layouts can be saved and switched with Saved Views, and the app follows your device's light or dark setting on first visit.

August 2026

  • A notification about a record opens that record over the current screen instead of navigating away.
  • Payment releasers can Deny Release as well as Release an approved payment in My Payments.
  • Outflows, Inflows and Net Cash Flow share one bulk action bar, including bulk Mark as Received.
  • Credit card accounts from connected banks are tracked as liabilities, separately from cash accounts.
  • Emailed receipts appear in proxo without a page refresh.
  • If proxo refuses a receipt you forwarded, it tells you why.
  • A receipt that matches no existing Outflow can still be filed.
  • Bank statements extract in the background, with a progress indicator that stays visible while you work.
  • A quote group can start with one quote, and the rest can be added as they arrive.
  • Proxo Agent Chat always shows a reminder that AI responses can be wrong and should be checked.

July 2026

  • Every feature is on every plan; plans now differ only by the number of entities.
  • Invite a teammate with a shareable link that is also sent by email.
  • Split an expense across entities, including partial coverage of the total.
  • Approved Outflows can go through a payment release step, with a My Payments worklist for the people who release them.
  • Bank statement files are never stored: proxo extracts the transactions and discards the file.
  • Password-protected and image-only statement PDFs are detected and explained, and long statements are read in full instead of being cut off.
  • Recurring transactions run in each entity's own timezone, and the entity form gains a timezone picker and searchable country and currency pickers.
  • My Sessions lists your active sessions and trusted devices and lets you sign any of them out; idle sessions now time out on the server.
  • Push records to QuickBooks and Expensify from one shared "Push to" control.
